Core Spun Yarn has been having a HUGE time with weavers and crafters recently and I am so excited to be able to bring it to The Joyful Studio.
 

100% British made from field to fibre, using baby grade alpaca fibre this core spun yarn is buttery soft and comes in 3 beautiful neutral shades.

Spun in small batches in a UK based family run mini mill. The family own over 50 alpacas who all have names!
There are only two spinners who work in the mill and most of the process is done by hand (where machines are used, the fibre has to be slowly and carefully fed into them by hand).

With the grey and brown yarns, there is often not one consistent colour and the colour gently changes throughout the ball. This creates a beautiful effect when knitting and weaving into your wall hangings.

Because the batches are small, the colour may vary slightly.
